Windows 10: How to remove obs virtual camera

i am trying to live stream youtube so what is happening is that i have my webcam plugged in to my computer the audio works but the screen shows the obs logo including a camera icon with a line thru it

How do I make my OBS virtual camera my main Windows Camera.

I do not have a USB Webcam and I use OBS Virtual Cam to stream video.

Some apps only recognize the standard USB webcam as an input source and I don't know how to switch to my virtual camera.

Can you help me use my virtual cam as the default camera for windows?

Hi Ben,

Most likely you need to tweak it directly on OBS and check for properties and try to change some options/selections.

Also, you need to determine if your driver is working properly as well.

I have been having problem with OBS that won't run, I get the "could not initialize DirectX 10"

To assist you better I would like to know, are you facing this issue only with the OBS application?

I suggest you to uninstall and re-install the application and check if that helps. Follow the below steps.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Programs and features, locate for OBS premiere, right click on it and
  uninstall it.
