Windows 10: How to remove organization from my personal device, but locked out of organization?

I was locked out of my school account in July because I graduated. However, I added the account to my personal device and never removed it. But it still has control over my device, like making me change my pin every few months. I am not able to change it back to a pin I've used before or remove the pin entirely. How can I remove the organization if I already deleted the account from my laptop and am locked out of the account?

You cannot remove organisers. Child can leave from the Family or Organizer can leave himself. There must be at least 2 organisers if you want to remove 1.

There are several different ways for family members and organizers to leave or be removed from a Microsoft family group depending on their role.

Before leaving, family members and organizers should remove saved places and location alerts they would not like to remain in the group. Location alerts must be removed by the individual who set them for saved places to be deleted. Leaving or being removed from a family group will not delete Microsoft accounts.

Using a web browser, visit family.microsoft.com.

Log into your Family Safety account.

Make sure there will be at least one more organizer and family member in your family group before you leave. Family groups without an organizer and at least one other family member will be deleted.

Remove all family member consent permissions you hold by following the steps below.

Click Manage my child’s profile info and find your family member.

Select Remove consent for this child’s account.

Once all held consent is removed, select Leave family group.

 

Organization removal tool is not removing all organization settings

As stated above, I had connected my pc to my school account to access word for free and did not realize that they had set up the device settings to control most of my personal settings. It almost felt as if they took over the whole pc, and prevented me from doing mundane things such as setting a custom wallpaper.

With that said, I almost immediately went into the settings to disable the connection, which took effect quickly and it allowed me to set custom wallpapers and return my pc 'mostly' back to normal. However, there are a few 'organization' settings that are still in effect and I cannot remove them or turn them off as they are "controlled by my organization." Talking to the school's IT, they claim they don't have control over the personal device connections and are unwilling to help.

The main one that persists and is the first one I'm trying to tackle before moving to more niche settings, is changing my pin to log in, as it used to be a 4-digit pin and now is required by my organization to be a 6-digit.

I've seen recommendations of using the CMD prompt with specific lines to release the grip on my pc and then restarting the pc but nothing has worked. Even logging into the organization online and managing devices this way does not solve the problem.

Worst case I reset pc to factory settings and reinstall everything, but that's a pain and I want to solve this otherwise.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

 

Teams Organization having access to my personal computer

When I went onto Teams to do work, at some point, I must've entered an organization and allowed access for it to change my device (my personal computer). Since then, I have been asked to change my pin twice due to my organization's requirements. I don't
