Windows 10: How to remove "Screen Captured" watermark on all screenshots

I want to remove the completely unnecessary "Screen Captured" text applied to every screen shot taken through windows. Is there a way to do that?And doubly, why in the world was this ever an implemented default feature? I can't find anyone talking about this. Am I the only one supremely bothered and absolutely befuddled by this seemingly brain dead decision? Am I missing something? Why is this a thing at all?

Upon checking on your concern, we have found a suggestion that may help you take a screenshot of the dropdown menu using the Snipping tool. Please follow the steps below:

• Launch Snipping tool.
• Right-click the menu you wish to take a screenshot.
• Press CTRL + Fn+ Print Scrn.
• Once you've already taken the print screen of the menu, you may try using the snipping tool and check if it will be able to capture the drop down menu.

You can take a screenshot by following the steps below. The screenshot will be copied to the clipboard and saved in the Screenshots folder inside your Pictures folder.

PC:

1.- Configure on your screen what you want to appear in the capture.

2.- Press Windows key + Print to capture the image.

Tablet:

1.- Configure on your screen what you want to appear in the capture.

2.- Press Windows key + volume down button to capture the image.

 

Lock vs Login screen screenshot

Hi Josey -

Thanks for the quick reply. While your suggestion does change the sign in process, it doesn't address the differing screenshot question. Following the steps doesn't make the login screenshot the same as the Lock screenshot. As I mentioned, I can't even find the screenshots being used for both screens.

Still looking a solution to this. Open to any other suggestions you might have to the problem. Thanks!
