Windows 10: How to remove static from a Win 11 computer when connected to an external PA system? No...

I have a new Asus laptop with Win 11 and an old Asus laptop with Win 10. I get static on my Win 11 laptop from a Line-in or from an external USB Audio device that connects to the same audio source, a PA system. The new and old laptops both have the Realtek audio system. When I connect a Logitech USB camera with audio, I don't get any static. Connecting the same PA source to my old Win 10 laptop, I get no static, only on my new Win 11 ASUS laptop. I have changed out the connection cable and used a different USB Audo device to make sure those weren't the problems. Other laptops connected t

Trying to connect to a printer that is physically on a Win 10 computer from a Win 11 computer to no avail.

2. Ensure that the printer is visible to other devices on the network. To do this, go to the printer properties on the Win 10 computer and check the box next to “List in the directory” in the Sharing tab.
   
3. Try disabling any firewalls or antivirus software temporarily on both the Win 10 and Win 11 computers to see if that resolves the issue.
   
4. Check if the printer is compatible with Windows 11. You can check the manufacturer’s website for the latest drivers and software for your printer.
   
5. Try connecting the printer to a different USB port on the Win 10 computer.
   
6. If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting the printer to its default settings and then setting it up again.

Can't connect to internet with computer set with static IP

My guess is that you made a typing mistake, e.g. typing 192.186 instead of 192.168. If this is not the case then I suggest this:

• Set the machine to DHCP.
• Check if you can ping your other machines.
• Mark and copy the command below with Ctrl+C.
• Press the Windows key+R
• Press Ctrl+V, then Enter.
  
• Repeat steps 2 to 5 for a static address.
• Post the results of Step 2 (twice!) plus the contents of the desktop file IP.txt.
