I accidentally put the .bik file into the Windows media player from 'OpenWith', now I want to REMOVE IT COMPLETELY and restore it to its default None.how do I do it?

Hi Christian,

If you want to remove the .bik file association completely, a registry edit is suggested.

Download bik_no_asso.reg and run it. Click Yes when prompted.

Note: It's a plain-text file, and its contents can be viewed by clicking on the link.

And then, from an admin Command Prompt, run:

• assoc .bik=
  

Press Enter.
