    How to remove the File Size Grouping in File Explorer


    When looking through the downloads folder of the File Explorer, it has started sorting my files into subcategories based on file size image below. Even when I sort by alphabetical order, or by date modified, it just sorts them within those groupings. This makes it incredibly frustrating to navigate. I do not want to have to go between all these different folders just to find the file I want, based on what I think the file size may be. Are there any solutions to this issue without resorting to third-party applications?

    Cannot Remove File From File Explorers Recent Files List

    I'm using Windows 10 and have always been able to remove files from the file explorer's recent files list. The file is listed as FileProvider and it is located in the ThisPC/downloads directory. Any other file is readily deleted from the list by the usual
    procedure. This file is not. Any suggestions?

    file explorer --group

    By changing the group parameters, I mean the value of the criteria. I group by file size, but I want to choose the range of file sizes to group. The "group by" command chooses the file size groups by default. I want to choose the group sizes myself.
    Can this be done?

    or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.
