Windows 10: How to Remove the Input Method from System Tray in Windows 11

I only ever use one language and so having the Input Method displayed in the System Tray is useless to me. It seems that every time Microsoft issues an update I have to go hunting for how to disable this particular item. I haven't been able to find it in Windows 11, but having looked at some of Microsoft's articles on the Taskbar, many of the screenshots don't have the Input Method in the System Tray so it must be possible somehow.Does anyone know how to achieve this?Richard

That, i want deactivate permamently the "input method" icon, at left side of the clock in system tray? I deactivate from Configuration/System/Notifications & Actions/Activate or deactivate system icons.. I turn off here the "Input indicator", but i restart
the pc, or my session and the icon its there, i have to repeat the process.. Help me, please..

PD: I´m from Argentina, i have the spanish language installed, the route specified in the problem can be different that english version, but i translated the options well, i supossed..

I would suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps:

1. Go to Control Panel and enlarge the icons.

2. Select the Language icon.

3. Click on "Advanced settings" option given in left-side pane.

4. Enable "Use the desktop language bar when it's available"
option present in "Switching input methods" section.

5. Now click on "Options" button and set "Language Bar"
option to "Hidden".

6. Save the changes and it'll permanently remove "Input Indicator" icon
from Taskbar notification area and it'll no longer reappear upon system restart.
