    How to remove the tool bar in Windows 11 file explorer? It consumes too much screen space.


    How to remove the tool bar in Windows 11 file explorer? I don't need this tool bar and many users have reported this issue. It unnecessarily consumes too much screen space. Microsoft team must look forward ways to customize or minimize the tool bar in File explorer.

    This issue might have been caused by misconfigured browser settings. For us to isolate the issue, we would like to ask the following questions:

    • Which browser are you using?
    • Which tool bar are you trying to access?
    • Have you tried accessing other websites?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you use Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer to access the website. Check if the issue persists.

    In Windows 11 File Explorer, while searching for file name the spaces keep being deleted.

    In Windows 11 File Explorer, while searching for a file name the spaces keep being deleted.

    Example searching for "New Home 2023" the space or spaces are being removed "New Home2023"

    It is not doing it 100% of the time. But most of the time.

    I have already done the following:

    • Restarted computer (multiply times)
    • Updated, Dell and Windows
    • Updated my Logitech Keyboard
    • Rebuilt index
    • Ran both the DISM and SFC Tools
    Not sure if there are other settings? I am not having any luck with this and its extremely frustrating.

    I understand that the toolbar is missing in Internet explorer 11. We will help you.

    • Are you facing this issue after any recent updates?
    • Did you check in setting and try to check mark the command bar and check?
    I suggest you to follow some steps below and check if it helps.

    • Open Internet Explorer.
    • Right click on top in empty space near the tabs
      and select Menu Bar and Command Bar and check if the issue is resolved.
