Windows 10: How to remove the virtual touchpad icon from the taskbar on Windows 11 24H2?

Upon updating to Windows 11 24H2, I came across a situation. It is not possible to remove the icon of the virtual touchpad from the taskbar.On 23H2, there was a special button in Settings > Personalization > Taskbar that allowed to hide the icon as described in the FAQ. If you update to 24H2 and if, by chance, the touchpad icon is active, it will appear that there is no way to remove it, as the button disappears from the said section.Also, the touchpad icon on taskbar is not interactive.I was surprised at first by seeing this on desktop, but some time later I bought a Windows 11 laptop

How to remove an Icon of "eConnect by Harris School Solutions" on my Taskbar

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the "eConnect by Harris School Solutions"
from the taskbar and check if it helps.

• Right click on the icon "eConnect by Harris School Solutions".
• Click on “Unpin from Taskbar” the icon will be removed from the taskbar.

How Can I Remove or Hide the Network and Volume Icons on Taskbar?
