Windows 10: How to remove this type of file?

All my documents show the file type along with the document name. I want to show only the name of the document. Please advise on this.Ex- Currently showing Test.docI want a fix like thisTestThank you.

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

I would suggest you to run System File Checker. its a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restored corrupted files. Follow the steps below:

• Press Win + R on the keyboard
• Type CMD the hit OK
• Type: sfc/scannow at the Command Prompt.
