    How to remove unwanted driver which is waiting to be installed


    I discovered the the Intel HD 3000 driver which W10 was using did not work, so a found one that did. Today, I noticed that W10 had downloaded the bad driver and was waiting to install it again. I used the group policy editor to block driver updates, and the download driver did not install on restart. Now the bad driver download is still there, waiting to be installed, and I'd like to delete it from the download area even though it will never install.

    How to do that.

    Computer is Asus K73E, and OS is Win 10 Pro.
