Windows 10: How to remove white space in user name

Hello,During the setup of my new Windows system, I utilized a Microsoft account, resulting in my username being my full name, which includes a space. This is causing difficulties in installing software. Is there a method to change my username?I couldn't locate the option to change the username in the user account settings under the control panel for my admin account.

Registry & Name White Spaces

My question relates to the Windows registry and white spaces in Key names, Strings, DWORDS. I have noticed names can be three or more words without white spaces, but sometimes their is. For example the DWORD Value Name "BagMRU Size". I have noticed an effort by the authors of the registry not to include white spaces between words of names. I assume it matters. I would like to also know how the system knows a registry entry is correct? There must be an index of all valid registry entries. Where can I find this list? This is important when editing the registry and determining if the entry is valid or a typo. It would be good to put this question to rest. Thank you in advance.

 

Remove account
