Windows 10: How to remove wrong association of documents folder in library

Hello,


I was changing all default locations of library folders to my D: Drive. While changing location of Documents folder, instead of putting D:\Documents as location I put just D:\ in it. Now when I open properties of the Documents folder, it shows properties of the D: drive. How do I rectify this mistake?

Remove Music, Pictures, Videos folders from Documents Library?

I'm using Windows 10 and have no use for the Music, Pictures, and Videos folders that appear in the Documents library. I want to remove them, or at the very least hide them from the folder listing. It's very annoying that Windows doesn't want to let you
do that.

To be clear, I'm not talking about removing them from the explorer left side panel. I want to stop them from showing up in the Documents list. Does anyone know a simple way to do this? Thanks.

 

Removing folder from library without deleting it

One of my folders appears in 2 libraries.
If I delete the folder from the wrong library, it gets actually deleted from both libraries AND ALSO FROM MY "DOCUMENTS" and sent to the bin.
How can I remove it from that wrong library but not from my Documents nor from my other library (I have Windows 10).

Is there a separate Documents folder showing when you scroll the File Explorer up? Below is a screenshot of how it should look like.





If there is a Document folder showing and it points to OneDrive, we suggest you perform the following:

• Right-click on the Documents folder, and select Properties.
• Go to Location tab.
• Change the location where files in that folder are stored by removing the
  \OneDrive.
