Windows 10: How to replace foreign display language in Single Language Edition with English

I have a HP Pavilion laptop with WIN 10 Single Language Portuguese Brazil that wish to remove and replace with English USA . Do NOT wish to keep Portuguese display language, but remove completely and replace with English, respecting the single language of my WIN 10 license. Is it possible to replace a single language display with another, and if so HOW?

English (United States) for adding language is greyed.

The step where a list of optional languages are displayed.

The US English is presently not installed, and there is no other language except a base language which came with W10 22H2. Edit: So I just installed the US English. That is it. The US English is greyed because I took the first step of "Add Language" and forgot completing whole steps.

For some reason some fields of software display in a foreign language!

In the language settings there are only two languages, English (US) and English (UK).

As you can see on the Scribus screenshot, some fields are most definitely not English!! *Devil

Weird enough, I have another W10 notebook and there the display is in English!

Please help!

To change the language, I suggest you to follow the steps provided below:

• Go to settings.
• Time & Language.
• Region & Language.
• Add a language. Select required language (UK English/US English).

Make it default by clicking on it and choosing "set as default". Go to options and download language pack.
