    how to reset an account

    Hi,

How can I change the username and password of existing (sign in) account? I don't really want to create a new account as I want to keep all the same access to documents/pictures etc.

I've tried to reset the password but it says I need a usb/flash drive? And there's no option to change password on the screen?

    Please advise.

    Many thanks.

    San

    :)

    Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:
      Code:
      net user test /del

    • If you've forgotten your Windows password, there are several ways to retrieve or reset it:
      • If your PC is on a domain, your system administrator must reset your password.
      • If you're using a Microsoft account, you can reset your password online. ...
      • If you're using a local account, use your password hint as a reminder.
