Windows 10: How to reset an older HP inherited from a Techy Attorney

Hi, I have the sweetest dear Lady who wants me to reset an inherited computer from a lawyer who was pretty much a techy too. Whats the safest way for me to do this? And, before I do how could I tell if this CPU still doesn't access a hidden network or relay somewhere? Just general questions please help. Another thing Windows 10 is stored on this CPU as well as a second one and I dont have a disk, unless she has but anywho let's pretend I don't.Both CPU's are older HPs with multiple hard drives and other decives Im not sure what they are.

Different answers each time I called HP Yes/No Can be connected/No it can't. Last call suggested kill printer add back. It's not on the HP list and can't pick up blue blinking wireless signal . Older HP Inkjet 6350 year old HP laptop both wireless wizard
asks for WPA

NO DISC, NO cables

 

After reset it's only the openning page with +hp

To perform a clean reset on the IPAQ 1950 and return you HP iPAQ to factory settings:

• Press and hold the Calendar and iPAQ Wireless buttons.
• While holding down these buttons, use the stylus to lightly press the Reset button on the left side of the HP iPAQ for about two seconds.
  
• When the HP iPAQ screen begins to fade, release the Calendar and iPAQ Wireless buttons first, and then remove the stylus from the Reset button.
  
• Plug the device into the AC Adapter or press the Reset button again.

The HP iPAQ resets and powers on.







I think you might be missing that last step 4.

 

Inherit permission from the parent folder in Windows Server 2012R2

I understand that you want the child folder to inherit the permissions from the parent folder. You can try the following steps and check if that helps:

1. Right click on the folder to which you want to provide permission.
   
2. Click on Security tab.
   
3. Click on Advanced.
   
4. Click on Enable Inheritance and.
   
5. Click on Apply and OK.
