Windows 10: How to reset my password / not getting verification code

So I added a replacement security info on this account that I'm own I own it but I can't reset my password which the account is linked onto my desktop so I cannot literally do anything with. I can't login my desktop or reset my password whenever I try to reset it leads me to the verification process and then says "this verification method isn't working right now try another way" but there is no other way I can't do anything I also don't remember my pin so I can't do anything with that either I tried resetting my password by another device another tab clearing data etc still nothing it still

Hacker Keeps resetting my Live email password.

I think he is trying hard to get to my Steam account again. Like I added in my first post I had a password reset for steam email.

And last time he did it I had several password reset emails in my live before (I suppose) he got it to work.

Now I don't even feel like my gmail is safe. I have it set up for Phone SMS and 2 step verification. Although I think he is having a hard time with my gmail.

HOW IS HE DOING IT!

I see you've already followed some steps.

I was reading your answers and I have a suggestion for you.

I once tried to get a verification code on my phone and it said the code was sent but I never received it.

I updated the messaging app and it still didn't help.

I followed some other steps and it didn't help.

My only solution was to remove my SIM Card and put it in another old phone that I no longer used and asked to resend the code and then the verification code arrived perfectly.

This might be a solution for you.
