    Hi, my pc might have a virus or something because it is always at max storage even after deleting ever goddam thing on it and I can't reset because of the maxed out storage. I have an Asus laptop that uses windows 11 with 56gb of storage and yes my recycling bin is clear. There is less than a GIGABYTE of storage for apps total mathematically but it says the apps total take up 21gb. If anyone has any idea what's happening please tell me, thanks.

    Thanks for this suggestion.
    Resetting the folder view options to default didn't bring up the storage bars for any of my drives.
    No matter what view I set it as, the storage bare still doesn't show. Even after setting the folder view options to default.

    It has nothing to do with a computer reset. It is only a refresh to see if the storage space displayed is accurate or up-to-date. In order for you to go to that page, please follow these steps:

    • Press Windows + I and select System.
    • Under Storage, click This PC.
    • From there, you can see the option to refresh your storage allocation.

    Let us know the status of the issue once the method has been done.
