Windows 10: how to reset password for pc account

i know the pin which is what i usually use but for some reason it just says “something happened and your PIN isn’t available. click to set up your pin again” yet clicking the button has no affect. i have tried clicking reset password but neither of the drives is a password reset disc apparently idk what that means and my internal drive doesn’t even appear. my computer only has one account i think and i don’t think it is the same as my microsoft password as i have reset it and it didn’t work. please help me fix it without clearing my whole pc i’ve been trying for ages.

I can not reset my google password

Two step works for me if your phone info is the same as it was you should be able to recover it.

Thanks for the reply, but it does not help me. The website does not proceed past step 4. After entering the security code, the website does not proceed to step 5. It does not give an error message, it simply greys out the next and cancel buttons and hangs
indefinitely.

Reset your password
