Windows 10: How to reset remove windows 10 on acer. USED Locked computer.

I have an acer that is locked. The lady tried to do a factory reset like to recycle the laptop. Some how the system failed to wipe everything. Now I have a computer I cannot reset or access. Acer has policy's that basically say it's not under warranty so pay 3rd party company for help. But it is a windows matter.? I don't want to recover the password I want to continue the reset and remove her account. It stuck in a loop and keeps undoing changes. Everything works I just do not have a way to finish the reset or a way to get into the computer. Not even command prompt will work without the pas

Windows failed to reset and it removed windows drive

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to Reset the computer using Windows 10 ISO and check if it helps.

• Go to the Microsoft software download website and create Windows 10
  installation media.
• Insert the installation media you created, and then restart your PC.
• On the Install Windows screen, select Troubleshoot.
• In the troubleshoot screen, click on Reset this PC.
• Select the desired option and follow the steps to Reset the PC and check for status.

Locked out of Win 10 account

Steve, All you need is a Windows 10 installation USB in order to use the procedure given in post #2. If you do not have one of them then you will need to take your computer to somebody who does. The procedure does not entail any use of the MSAccount reset / old mobile number / email reset. Denis
