Windows 10: How to reset security settings during password recovery after microsoft account hack

My Microsoft account was hacked, all security settings changed, Authenticator enabled. One amongst millions, I assume.I can successfully identify myself and reset password through recovery form hurrah.But... after password change the hacker immediately gets the notification and changes it again OBVIOUSLY.Why security changes are not cleared during recovery process, after the hack? The situation is ridiculous.What is 30 day period for? Can't I just go back to settings from before the hack?Mind you, I can use recovery form only twice a day, so after every try I hoped I can be faster than

Thanks for the reply, but it does not help me. The website does not proceed past step 4. After entering the security code, the website does not proceed to step 5. It does not give an error message, it simply greys out the next and cancel buttons and hangs
indefinitely.

email account hacked. please help

I have a yahoo email account that seems to be hacked. Following are hacking activities I have noticed.

1) Spam emails being sent from my account to my account and my recovery email account.
2) Recent emails in inbox are missing
3) New emails in deleted mails folder

I have reset passwords for both my email account and recovery email account and also re-installed my mac but still spam emails are being sent from my account to my account and my recovery email account.

My mac was not even turned on when those emails were being sent. No one else knows my password. I do access mail from my iphone and ipad too.

Its my primary email account please help.
