Windows 10: How to resolve an IntelR Corporation - SoftwareComponent - 1.41.1340.0 driver update that...

Hello, since January 25, the IntelR Corporation - SoftwareComponent - 1.41.1340.0 driver update has updated seven times and it's still attempting to retry the update of its own accord. I'm on Windows 11.Obviously I'm also receiving the Install error - 0x80070103 message given how many times this driver has installed. I couldn't see if anyone else was having this issue recently. Should I pause the updates for longer to see if it will resolve? Or try something else? Obviously, I only need one install, not several. Thank you.Kristin

Intel Corporation - SoftwareComponent - 1.1122.713.2 windows update problem

Hello

I am using Windows 11 Pro VER 22H2. Windows update, downloads and installs "Intel Corporation - SoftwareComponent - 1.1122.713.2"

and by next boot, it does this again.

I am in the infinite loop of download and install "Intel Corporation - SoftwareComponent - 1.1122.713.2"

What can I do?

 

WU ignores Intel Corporation - SoftwareComponent - 2.7.100.2 update




Here's what I see...





...so when I click 'Install Now', 0.001 seconds later it is supposedly finished.

I look at my Installed Updates/Drivers and I see this...





That was fast. So I looked at my Reliability History and I see many multiple times of this drivers' failed attempts at updating...





I try Intels' Driver and Support Assistant but its website says "there's something wrong".
I've configured my Startups and System Configurations to fully run, still the update refuses to...update.
Never had a problem with updating before.
I Bing-ed the update and wound up at the Microsoft Update catalog and saw the update...several of the same one.





So close yet so far. What should I do? *Sad

Please try using the “Show or Hide Updates” troubleshooter to hide the driver updates. Window Update won’t install hidden drivers or updates. Run the troubleshooter then please try hiding the Intel Corporation - SoftwareComponent update that will show in the list. You may try restarting your pc if it helps.
