Windows 10: How to resolve BSOD crash/restart?

I’ve been having issues with my Lenovo Legion desktop for a while with BSOD errors and restart. I’ve tried troubleshooting a number of issues such as installing driver updates, uninstalling software, and finally factory resetting. Lately it happens so often I can’t use it for more than 20 min. Also, as of late it’s freezing and rebooting without showing the blue screen which is odd. I’m at a loss of what to do.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

Random restarts

when you start the computer up press F8 repeatedly until you get a list of how to start windows, choose do not automatically restart on system failure. if your getting bsod's list what your getting here so we can further help you. IF the system is not getting bsod's and still restarting as you say then i would look into getting a line conditioner for your computer as you might be having power issues.

 

Big Problem! Start Button wont work, and Desktop Icons gone!

Suggests BSOD. Disable automatic restarting on system failure.
