BSODs ("VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL", "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE")

Hi Writing here is my last resort and I hope someone is able to help me. I am a user of Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05H laptop (Ryzen 5 4800h with RTX 2060m), I am running Windows 11 22H2 22621.2506. I get BSODs frequently, they are not uniform error codes, they are intermittent. Today I got "VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL" twice, but sometimes there is also "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE". I honestly have no idea how I can fix this. Below is a list of things I have done so far:

• Update BIOS to the latest version
  
• Downgrade BIOS to older versions
  
• Installation of the latest Nvidia drivers (GeForce Experience)
  
• Installation of Nvidia drivers from Lenovo website
  
• Disabling digital driver signing
  
• DISM health commands
  
• sfc /scannow
  
• Reinstalling Windows 11
  
• installing ALL drivers from Lenovo's site for this model
  
• memTest86 (no errors)
  

I used the DDU utility when installing graphics drivers. Often when pressing action center the computer freezes for a second and then everything goes back to normal and sometimes I get a BSOD. The computer crashes even when watching Youtube or working in Word, so it's not a problem under load. I'm considering switching to Windows 10, I don't know if it makes any sense but I'm running out of ideas. I am attaching the MiniDump folder below, I hope someone can find a moment to help. VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL Windows 10 clean install, further new error DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

Original title: VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL Windows 10 clean install

I upgraded to windows a10 and activated it. I had a TON of issues with that install and in the end before I lost the ability to go back to 8.1, I purchased and installed a new HDD for the sole purpose of installing Windows 10.

I have the same VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL error when Windows 10 forced an update. I downloaded this tool as suggested:

I believe I blocked the driver download and while in safe mode, was able to install the old drivers that worked previously. I thought I was home free, until I rebooted.

Booting back into safe mode I can not see using the tool that there are any updates hidden or any to hide.

I am also getting a new error DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. This has happened twice.

The only way I was able to restart the PC was to disable the adapter in the Device Manager.

I'm fairly sure this is a version of the Nvidia 640M chipset and Windows 10 compatibility issues, but so far there are no solutions that work all the time.

Is there any remedy for DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE other than reinstalling Windows?

Hello,

This DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE failure has been with me for several months now.

It occurs suddenly during normal operation. The signs that it occured are:

1. WiFi turns off without any possibility to troubleshoot
   
2. USB PnP service turns OFF (but external HDDs that were connected before failure remain accessible)
   
3. The shutdown continues for about 5 minutes before a "blue screen" appears with the announcement DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE.
   
4. When restarting Windows, WiFi needs troubleshooting: Troubleshooter resets WiFi
   

Any suggestions ?
