Windows 10: How to resolve error code 0x80073CFE on Microsoft Store?

Hello,I have tried to install the 'Minecraft Launcher' app on Microsoft Store and it comes up with 'Retry' and 'There has been an error'. Any ideas on how to fix this? I have tried multiple methods, including PowerShell scripts. My Microsoft Store version is: 22212.1401.8.0Thanks,GCaesar

0x80073CFE means the package repository is corrupted.

Open PowerShell as administrator and run this command:

• get-appxpackage | out-file c:\apps.txt
  

And then run:

• GCI -Path "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\" -Recurse | Where {$_.Length -eq 0} | out-file c:\corrupt.txt
  

Upload the files c:\apps.txt & c:\corrupt.txt to your OneDrive and share the link here.

Also, what's the version of your Store app?

 

Error code 0x80073CFE microsoft store

I've been unable to update any apps for at least a week now, error code 0x80073CFE.

I have tried using command prompt and running scans etc, to fix the issue but nothing has worked, the scans and health checks come back clean. I have also tried repairing and resetting the store via Windows app settings on my pc.

Is there anything I/Microsoft can do to fix this? I have the latest Windows 11.
