Windows 10: How to resolve spiritic keyboard input delay

Yesterday I've noticed a new issue with my laptop keyboard. Every 10-15 seconds the input would lock up for 1-2 seconds, only allowing a few slow key inputs before returning to normal. in this clip I am quickly tapping between a and d at a consistent rate during the entire recording. I used this empty unity scene to show it however the issue persists on all software, even when typing the inputs will randomly slow down. I've tried restarting my computer, turning it off, reinstalling the keyboard driver, changing keyboard settings, but I am still unable to resolve this strange bug. Any suggestio

and setting your desired input method as 'override' rather than 'Use Language list'

 

Keyboard Input Delay Problems in Games

I have had keyboard input delay on my PC ever since I got it, about 2 years ago. It causes keyboard button presses to register late, or for longer than they are supposed to. This is especially noticeable while playing games but can happen anywhere as I have had a few spikes just typing something in the search bar on a browser.

There was a Windows update that completely resolved this problem about a year ago. But unfortunately, they are back after my PC installed a BIOS update about a month ago, and I started having input delay again. This problem occurs with every keyboard I have, it doesn't matter if it is USB or Bluetooth.

I already tried updating my keyboard drivers, in which it said I already have the latest version, and I also uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, which didn't help with this issue.

Language input may vary depending on the Input method set on your keyboard settings. To sort your concern, we suggest that you check if the desired input is set correctly by following these steps:

• Type in Language and keyboard options on the search box.
• Select the desired language that you're trying to set up.
• Once you've selected the language, select Options.
• Under Keyboards, select Microsoft IME and click
  Options.
• Scroll down and select Open advanced settings.
• A window will pop up. Under General tab, click the drop-down arrow for
  Input method and select the desired input.
• Click OK.
