That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Windows 11 Pro 22621.1992 windows update unable to find latest update KB5028256 (22621.2050)

Windows update says there are no updates. and if i go into the insider page under updates, it says there is a new build available. I don't know if i just need to wait a few days for my 'turn' to come up or what. I have run the following tools/commands in an effort to solve the issue:

• SFC /scannow [results came back with no errors]
  
• DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorhealth [command completed successfully, no indictions of any errors found]
  
• windows update troubleshooter [see section after list for details]
  
• bits troubleshooter [see section after list for details]
  
• windowsclub.com fix wu tool
  
• manually reset WU and BITS following instructions on Microsoft website.
  
• bitsadmin /reset /allusers
  
• and just for kicks..... chkdsk /scan /perf [no problems found]
  

when i ran the windows update troubleshooter it said it found a problem on step "check for windows update issues. Detects issues related to Windows Update. but for whatever reason it was unable to solve the issue. at the end of the detections list it showed the followingL

(blue symbol with !) WaaSMedicService

following this, I ran the Bits troubleshooter which reported that some of bits security settings were changed or missing. I then reset bits using bitsadmin, and also the microsoft provided instruction for resetting bits security settings, but the issue is persistent (according to the troubleshooter).

at this point I am not sure what i can try next, or if there really is an issue (maybe i need to just 'wait my turn').
