    How to restore a hard drive icon to default image WINDOWS 11


    In file explorer, I went to update a hard drive icon via RIGHT CLICK/PROPERTIES/CUSTOMISE/FOLDER PICTURES and thought I'd selected an image. I was wrong. All that shows now is an icon of a white rectangle. I've been into edit the registry new key; typed DEFAULTICON, as a number of videos advised, but this did not work. In previous versions of Windows, there would be a whole range of icons to select in the CUSTOMISE section, but this is no longer an option in Windows 11. I even downloaded an icon image and directed my computer to it via the CUSTOMISE button, but again no luck. I've even selec

    Free hard drive backup/restore program?

    I am looking for a free (freeware) program that will back up and restore a hard drive. I'm looking to clone a few external hard drives. If the program will backup the used space instead of the whole drive this will be awesome! Thanks for any suggestions.
