    How to restore "choose a default app" from being grayed out


    Hello, windows has "choose a default" option in the default apps settings grayed out and I do not know how to reverse that. I am running. I am currently running windows 11 that is activated. I am not sure if this is associated with activation issues that occurred after i changed my motherboard. The activation problem was resolved. That conversation can be found here.
