Windows 10: How to restore cut and paste right click availability in windows 11

After updating to windows 11 the right click copy, cut and paste features are embedded within further pull down menus called show more options. My question is, "How do I make these options front and center again without the extra steps?"I already know about and use ctrl x, c and v. However, this is not always the most convenient thing for me. I know microsoft needs to make new versions for a profit and future security patch needs. However, I often go years without updating because your company changes the most basic things that are infuriating. What makes you think your customers want to relea

Cut and Paste Problem

• Are you trying to cut and paste a folder from an external device?
  
• Do you have any other User accounts on the computer? Did you check the files in other User accounts if any?
  
• Was there any interruption during the cut and paste process?
  
• If the cut and paste process was interrupted, did you receive any error code or error message?
  

I suggest you to check the missing files in the Recycle Bin and try recovering the files. You can also try manually searching the files by entering the file name in the search bar.

cut or copy and paste

I use to be able to cut and paste by highlighting and right clicking. Now I can highlight but when I right click this option is no longer available. What happened to my cut, copy and paste and how can I get them back?

 

Cut and Paste procedure is NOT "cutting"

Hi. I am engaged in a lengthy exercise to shift a heap of files from RAR-type folders to normal folders.

I am cutting-and-pasting. However, Windows is NOT cutting, it is copying and pasting and I then have to go back to delete the file.

Why O why O why will this. !%^$% system not do as it is told. Have we slowly morphed into an Apple lookalike where nerds "know" what is best for us?

When I "cut", I want it cut!

Anyone know why this is occurring?
