Windows 10: How to restore files from a deleted user account?

A bit of context: I was trying to clear up space on my drive by deleting some unused accounts. For some reason I had two Windows accounts: xdavi and david. I deleted xdavi, thinking that was the unused account, only to realize halfway through that I might have gotten the two mixed up and tried logging out to cancel the process, but it was too late. Fortunately, I think I still have my old files. The folder for xdavi is still present in C:/Users, and my storage hasn't decreased indicating a massive deletion. There isn't a clear answer online on how to restore, some people recommend downloading

GAH! accidently deleted a user account

how do i get back a deleted user account on xp32?

i need the data at the least but the whole thing would be great.

ive tried system restore and thats not working at all.

Deleting User Accounts

If you can access the admin account through safe mode then all you have to do to remove the other account passwords is go into User Accounts in the control panel and either delete the accounts or, I'm not sure, remove the account passwords.

It's possible that your main account is disabled (not deleted), follow these steps to activate your main account:

• Press the Windows logo key + X and then select "Command Prompt (Admin)",
• Type the following command, replace "mufaa" with the name of your main account:
  net user mufaa /active:yes.
