Windows 10: How to restore properties to router shortcut in Network Infrastructure

I'm running Windows 10:Edition Windows 10 ProVersion 22H2Installed on ‎12/‎31/‎2022OS build 19045.4780Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19060.1000.0Internet access via Intel Ethernet Connection 1218-V the most recent driver ver 29.1Until about a month ago I could open the Network window via the Windows Start menu and would click on the Linksys37365 router icon to be taken to its login page.Now, no connection is attempted and an error message is given: "The properties for this item are not available"I can connect to the login page via a browser and/or File Explorer, but it's a b

Unknown router in network infrastructure

hello,

I have a situation, when I check the network infrastructure settings on my Windows 7 machine I see an unknown router appearing twice, but strangely not my own modem/router, I have a Zyxel modem/router but this is not showing, not really sure what is going
on, my internet connection is working fine. I have included a screenshot of the network infrastructure .settings.

Any advice appreciated

 

Router in Network Infrastructure right click menu gone after KB4586781

It's not a problem I see on any of my 20H2 machines (19042.630). On all of them if network discovery is turned off then Network in File Explorer is empty, only when it is turned on do I see the router, my Viera TV, network printer and other devices listed.

As I said, the 'glitch' is that you see them listed at all with network discovery off. Why you do is a puzzle, I have no explanation for that.

 

Router in Network Infrastructure right click menu gone after KB4586781

After installing KB4586781, the right click menu on my router disappeared in the Network Infrastructure group. Other items listed in the network group still work correctly with the right click menu. I did an uninstall of KB4586781 and the right click menu of my router returned to normal. I really don't want to uninstall a windows update because of a minor issue like a right click menu. I'm hoping there's a registry trick that might bring the right click menu back.
