    How to restore system from windows image backup on hard drive using another pc?


    My windows 11 update failed and now the machine is unable to boot-up properly--I cannot restore or recover using typical windows options as I get numerous errors. Using a windows USB to boot can start the pc but I still am unable to restore the system---it gives an insane number 32000 GB needed for HD space to accomplish.However, I have a backup image saved from 9/22/22 on the hard drive. I am looking to recover the system on this hard drive using another PC. How is this accomplished?thanks,AD

    I am looking for a free (freeware) program that will back up and restore a hard drive. I'm looking to clone a few external hard drives. If the program will backup the used space instead of the whole drive this will be awesome! Thanks for any suggestions.

    We could create an Image Backup then restore the backup to your new hard drive, if you want to replace the hard drive.
