Windows 10: how to restore windows 7 on Sony vaio E series laptop VPCEA45FG after upgrading it to...

I purchased a Sony Vaio laptop E series VPCEA45FG sometime in 2010-11. It was running on windows 7 but I upgraded it to windows 10 more than 2 years ago. The system has now become very slow after updates for windows 10 were installed. I want to restore the system to what it was when I purchased it. That is I want to restore windows 7 on this system. I do not have any recovery media CD/DVD with me. I can create one now. But I do not know how as it is currently running windows 10. I can see a windows 7 key on the backside of the laptop. How can I restore windows 7 on this system? Please advi

Reverting to Windows 7 after upgrading to windows 10 - Sony Vaio E Series

Hi,

I have Windows 7 Home Basic 64 bit preloaded in my Sony Vaio E series laptop. In windows update I was recommended to upgrade to windows 10 so I went ahead and did it. The upgrade was smooth and i didn't lose any data. My BSNL EVDO (Prithivi UE100) device
wasn't detected in the windows 10 (it was working fine in win 7) I uninstalled it and tried installing it back again with the compatibility settings and it didn't work. So after multiple fails i had to revert back to windows 7. Then the revert failed and I
wasn't able to login to the machine. I tried logging to safe mode to get the backup and that didn't work either since my keyboard wasn't detected for me to type the password. (I had to install another version of Windows 7 in another drive to get the data backup).

P.S I upgraded to windows 10 earlier like 3 months before and my audio wasn't working so reverted it back to windows 7 without much trouble (but i faced other problems like laptop heating up frequently and shutting down or CPU usage shooting to 100 everytime
I open Firefox browser). Did any one face these issues?

1) I would like to know if its advisable to upgrade to windows 10 for Sony Vaio E series?

2) If i upgrade to windows 10 again how do i get the BSNL EVDO working. ( I did try installing using compatibility settings and as well tried the answers from the windows community but no luck). I did see few replies saying you had drivers installed for
them to get working can you please share links to the drivers needed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you need any more details.

Quick web access, hardware issues in Windows 10 after upgrading from Windows 7 in Sony Vaio E series.

Original title: REGARDING UPGRADING OF SONY VAIO FROM WINDOWS 7 TO 10

I am using sony vaio E series (VPCEB46FG) ,recently upgraded win 7 ( home premium 64-bit ) to win 10 ( in dec 2015 ).

There are the following problems which are mainly faced after win 10 upgrade :

• "Quick Web Access" NOT WORKING - web browsing using slap sot browser without starting windows 7 is not working nor loading on key (i.e 'WEB' shortcut key).
• My card readers, (i.e vaio inbuilt M-gate & SD card reader ) are not working.

I although searched many website and especially sony site ,it seem to be seen that currently they are not providing any driver updates for 7 based laps to upgrade to 10.

Is there any support from Microsoft for this ?

What shall I do now?.......

Am having recovery disc of windows 7 of the lap taken at the time purchase for restore factory condition , so whether its possible to use dual boot option, i.e it is possible to install same product key OS twice (primarily or previously installed windows
7 's ( from the recovery disc ) and upgraded windows 10 of that old windows 7 ) to resolve problem of "Quick Web Access" NOT WORKING

[Note :- I am already using dual boot option for loading Ubuntu for learning purpose.]

OR

Is there any other ways for solving the above ???

One more thing I am having another vaio still working on windows 7, after resolving this I want choose whether it to be upgraded to win 10!!!********

Or I want to restore old windows 7 on currently upgraded one ??? [ which is possible using - Go to Backup and Restore (Windows 7)]

HOW EVER AND MORE OVER CURRENTLY I AM SATISFIED WITH WINDOWS 10 OS ! EXCEPT THE ABOVE ISSUES .

I have installed Windows 10 Enterprise. But it has poor graphics.

I am not getting driver. It would be great if once can advice.

I already tried NVIDIA but no drivers found
