Windows 10: How to restrict supplicant from connecting to enterprise wireless WPA2-EAP networks with...

Is there a way to restrict clients let's say Windows 10 machines from connecting to any enterprise wireless apart from those with trusted certificates? Other types of networks open, wpa-psk etc. should remain unrestricted.

Connecting to WPA/WPA2-Enterprised network

Hello Saataja - great explanations. I appreciate all your help.

I have a nokia e71 and get this authentication failure error when tried to connect my office network. My office has WPA enterprise security PEAP/MSCHAP2
with no public certificate. I can connect my laptop by disabling the validate certificate in Vista. But, for some reason I cannot connect my phone. Please seee below are the configuration settings that i have. Please let me know if you see
anything obvious that i can change and make the connection work.

WPA2 Enterprise (EAP-FAST) support on Lumia 920

Hi,



I have a Lumia 920. Could you please let me know if the WPA2 Enterprise with EAP-FAST is supported on the Lumia 920? I am not able to connect to the Wi-Fi network in my office.



The Wi-Fi network in my office has a hidden SSID with WPA2-Enterprise (EAP-FAST) as the authentication protocol. I am following the steps below to connect:

1) Go to Settings->Wifi

2) Click on Advanced

3) Clock on "+"

4) Enter the SSID of the hidden Wi-Fi network and click on "add"

5) Enter the Username and Password

6) Validate server certificate is set to "Off"

7) Click "done"

8) At this point, I am asked if the network I am trying to connect to is present in the location where I am, and if it is, I am asked to go ahead and connect. I clock on "yes"



After this, I get a message which says, "Connection unsuccessful. Your phone couldn't reach the WiFi network".
