Windows 10: How to retrieve old photos from Nokia Lumia 800?

We found the old phone of my dad somewhere and we discovered a bunch of photos on there that we'd like to download. However it has been a real journey trying to make this happen. Basically the phone cant email the photos anymore. I managed to install an old version of Zune on my PC but i can't connect the phone since the driver is missing. I can't update it via the 'search automatically for drivers' option because it spits out a message saying 'this operation requires an interactive window station'.To clarify, we have no plans to use the phone after this, we just want to recover the photos and

Looking pretty damn awesome!! If Windows Phone 8 is on par feature wise with IOS and Android I think I might make the switch......

 

Nokia N97 Retrieving old photos

Hi,

I have dug out my old Nokia N97 which, has definitely seen better days!

My question; If broken, i.e touch screen no longer works, but still charges, currently does not turn on (Still charging, so this may change) Can I, somehow retrieve all my old photos? Is it a possibility to get it repaired?

I would appreciate any suggestions as there are a lot of memories stored on this phone.

Oooh nice. I am tempted to get one of those actually. I mean my Galaxy Gio is good and all, but it does feel like it's not enough anymore. It depends on prices, but it looks good. Hopefully I'll get Windows 8 through school as well, should be a good match.
