    How to reverse show hidden files turning all folders with hidden files pale yellow even on...


    New HP laptop running W11. Has taken days to set up and transfer/download data... File Explorer is extremely unstable. Why offer so many MS apps if the system can't handle it? Anyway, for some reason I was possessed to show hidden files. It then ran through the whole c drive and found all the hidden files and then turned all folders with hidden files to a pale yellow. Same on desktop. Tried to reverse it and lost all desktop folder icons. Back to show hidden...and everything is back. How can I undo this?

    Hidden folders

    I installed `Kane and Lynch` on my PC twice in Program Files(x86) folder but I can`t find them (2 folders with game). But free space on my HDD is lower. So there`re those folders on my hdd. I use option `unhide` hidden folders but still can`t find them. Any suggestions? How can i delete those hidden folders?

    When I run istallation for this game I can see those folders in Program Files(x86) folde.

    I`m using Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

    Can't See files, not hidden

    That was the first thing I tried Dippy... but it didn't work.. meaning I've enabled viewing of and turned them from hidden to normal. *see the pictures*

    Can't See files, not hidden

    Folder options->show hidden files/folders.

    Checking the hidden box is a property, not a viewing preference.
