How to route audio from different applications to separate speaker channels on Windows 11?

I have a speaker setup with two separate speakers left and right channels. I want to play music from one speaker using a media player like Pot Player, while simultaneously playing YouTube video audio from the other speaker using my web browser. In Windows 11 sound settings, there is an option to set all system audio to play from either the left or right channel only. However, there doesn't seem to be a way to specify this behavior for individual applications. How can I achieve this goal of routing audio from different applications to separate speaker channels on Windows 11? Is there a thir

  2. Windows 11 messed up audio devices

Hey all, I just upgraded to windows 11 from 10, and now all my audio devices are messed up. I used to have it as my speakers that are plugged into the front audio port, and my headphones/mic plugged into the back. They were listed as 2 separate devices that I could toggle between. Since I went to 11, it is now showing as 1 audio device only and the audio plays from speakers and headphones at the same time. any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks

  3. Only stereo channel available in Speaker setup

Hi, I've updated to windows 10 1803 version. I'm using a dell inspiron 5558 laptop with the latest updated realtek audio driver. I'm unable to find any audio channels other than stereo when going through the following steps. Sound-> Playback-> configure.

The quadraphonic, 5.1 and 7.1 channels aren't available in it. Also using the pre-installed dell audio manager, going through the following steps( Dell Audio-> Speaker/Headphone-> Speaker Setup) only stereo is set by default and there is no other channel
configuration available. I've a 4.1 channel system with a 3.5 mm jack but on connecting that too the channel options aren't displayed.

The bios and all drivers are updated to the latest version.

Can anyone help me figure out what is the cause of the problem?

    Audio on only one channel

Hi Monica - thanks so much for responding... we did all of the things that you have listed but to no avail...

And in spite of all this, after 2 shops looking at the computer, with no real answers to the problem, my husband on a hunch brought home 2 new digital speakers and evidently the drivers installed as well and now both channels are working! We are so thankful.
