How to run 4k display on Samsung Chronos NP780 Laptop (Win10Pro-2004)

I have a Samsung laptop (NP780) which has integrated Intel HD4000 graphics and an AMD Radeon 8800 graphics card but i am having problems trying to get it to run a 4k monitor resolution.

I know I need to use a custom resolution with a lower refresh rate (as HDMI 1.4 doesn't have the bandwidth) but all the ones i try just don't seem to work. I'm running the standard AMD/Intel drivers.

    Anyone have any clues?

    :)

displaylink (dynadock 4k) not working with windows 10 laptop

I have a Toshiba dynadock 4k with an external monitor but I cannot see this monitor listed in my Windows 10 laptop display settings and cannot make my display appear on second monitor.

DisplayLink website suggests this may be a Windows 10 issue.

How do I get this working?

    Does Miracast support 4K?

    Hello,

We suggest that you check with the manufacturer of the 4k display device that you are using if it is certified to work with Miracast. If your display device is certified to work with Miracast, then check if your PC device supports Miracast. You may do so
    by following the steps below:

    • Click Start, then go to Settings >
      Projecting to this PC
      .
    • Check if your device supports Miracast.

    Regards.

May I know the Make and the Model of the Laptop?

Graphic card of the Laptop should be compatible with the 4k Monitor to play 4k Video

Refer this link to check the Compatibility list:
