    How to safe my drive from virus?


    I have 2 storage drive. One SSD for only OS & another HDD for store my data. Previous day, I extract a zip file contains a software. The file is in my HDD for 2-3 years. Sorry to say, but that time, the windows defender was of. I used the software and suddenly the virus thing comes in my mind. Immediately I remove the HDD from my laptop. After that, I run a scan with windows defender. Now I am using my laptop without the HDD. Haven't had any major problem so farNow, How can I be sure that the file or the drive has no virus. Note: the zip file was in my hdd the drive I removed from laptop
