I've used Windows 11 since it was rolled out so I know it's possible but for whatever reason, with this new PC, when I right click to save a photo or a document and save it to desktop; instead of it being visible as a thumbnail on my actual desktop screen, it's saved in File Explorer under "Recent". It's annoying because the reason I generally save some things on my desktop is so it's that I don't forget to go back and take care of/read/whatever the file when I have time. I think it mi

    • Carry on and print your picture as a PDF

If you've already saved your picture as a *.png/*.jpg/... file, you can equally print the file that you have as a PDF (using "Microsoft Print to PDF").

    I hope it was helpful.

    Cheers!

    Hello,

Regarding your PDF documents, the location will be based on where you saved the files. For your second inquiry, your documents can be converted to a PDF. If the original file is from Office Word, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • In Word, select File > Save As.

    • Select where you want to save the file.

    • Type a new File name if you want.

    • For Save as type, select PDF.

    • For Optimize for, select an option: Standard or
      Minimum Size.

    • Select Open File After Publishing, if you want to open the file after you save it as a PDF. This is selected by default.

    • Select Save.
If the steps provided is not working, please get back to us with the exact version of your Office Word.

Let us know the result of the suggested steps.

    Thank you.

How to save images and PDFs on desktop screen

OneNote Android vs Desktop - sending website article as PDF

Android smartphone... in a few easy steps I am getting an online article (e.g. newspaper article) as PDF in my email. On my smartphone: 1. At the bottom, tap on the Hamburger button 2. tap share 3. select OneNote 4. disable save as image (Q: how to in desktop?) 5. Documents lands in OneNote, open document 6. tap three dots and 7. select to send as PDF Have vainly been trying to this done in the desktop version. a. I want the article shared as text (not as image, see above step 4) b. I want the article then be sent/shared as PDF (not as a link, which is the only way that I am being offered) OneNote is an extension in my browser (desktop). In one click it ends up in OneNote, but from there one (see a. and b.)... Any suggestions? Thanks!
