Windows 10: How to Scale the Windows Taskbar Like So?

Greetings,


I know that you are able to change the size of the taskbar in Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Use small taskbar buttons, and by unlocking it then dragging the edges to increase and decrease it. I like the searchbar that was placed in Windows 10 however making the taskbar smaller with these options gets rid of it. On Ubuntu there is an option in the Display settings that does this, it can adjust the launcher and titlebar size. I've also seen the taskbar being smaller on pictures and screenshots from different people. I have a rather large monitor so a big taskbar doesn't look that great. Is there a way I can adjust it like so? Also if it can't be done natively, can it be with third party software? Thanks for reading!

• Select Settings or the gear icon and click Updates & security.

custom scaling documents for printing in windows 10.

1. Press control key + p.

2. Now select the number of pages you want to scale while printing.

3. Click apply.

4. Now click on print.

How do I globally disable display auto-scaling?

Hi,

In reply to your query with disabling automatic scaling while connecting an external interface.

The scaling is adjusted with the display resolution in dots per inch (DPI) with device you connecting with your PC and its by design.

However you can set a custom scaling level.


To set a custom scaling level :

1. Type "dpiscaling" in the search area on the taskbar and select dpiscaling.

2. Change the scaling settings in the display window.

3. In the display window, you can click on set a custom scaling level option and check if it helps.
