Windows 10: How to schedule a program opening at certain hour

So I have this Minecraft server I'm supposed to open everyday at 5pm but sometimes I forget about it. Searching, I found it is possible to create a service to open it automatically at a certain hour, but I've been looking for how to create that service and I couldn't find it.

Change target program in Task Scheduler

It blows my mind to no end that MS has never made an easy to use task scheduler in Windows.

I went through the convoluted steps in Task Scheduler to start a program (a sound) at a certain time daily.

I would like (REALLY) to change that target program to start another program. I don't see an option to do that, or even to delete a task.

Any way to do this?

 

Task Scheduler - Shutdown and stay off during certain hours

I understand how to use Task Scheduler in Windows 10 to shutdown the PC at a certain time. I would like to keep the PC off during certain hours (overnight) - to 'encourage' my son to sleep. It seems like Task Scheduler will only shutdown the PC at, say
11:00pm, but can't repeat the shutdown if the PC is simply turned on again at 11:05pm.

Is there a way (script?) to have the PC continually check the real time clock and force a shutdown anytime the OS recognizes that time is within a certain
range?

I'm pretty rusty at script coding, so examples would be helpful and greatly appreciated!

 

Can someone just open a W10 support.

As a suggestion, it would be kinda cool if we could exclude certain thread categories from the "recent threads" list.
