  1. How to See a File has a Comment in "Icon" View Mode?

After I add a comment on a file via Properties > Details > Comments, is there a way I can enable an indicator in a file's "Icon" view mode in order to remember to check it for comments.

This would be especially helpful for files on my desktop.

Sort of like how Excel has the red triangle in the corner, but on the icon of a file itself.

    :)

  2. Files & Folders View as medium or large Icons

To assist you better, we would suggest that you try to follow the steps below:

    • Open File Explorer.
    • Once you are viewing a folder, right click an empty space within the File Explorer window and select View from the dialogue menu, then choose Large or any icon you wanted to use. Alternatively, you can use the following shortcut keys on the keyboard to
      change your View settings:
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 1 Extra Large
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 2 Large icons
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 3 Medium Icons
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 4 Small Icons
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 5 List
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 6 Details
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 7 Tiles
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 8 Content
    3. Once you have the view set, you can make it the default view for

    every folder.

    4. Click Apply, then click OK.

    Update us on the result.

  3. File Explorer "Photos" icon now missing since Creators Edition update

I appreciate the suggestion, but sadly that doesn't fix the problem when viewing in details or list mode. I prefer using details/list modes as I mix images with other files in the same folder sometimes, and the long lists look better that way. Image only folders look great in thumbnail mode, but for mixed file folders it is not good. I realise this is not a major issue and is purely cosmetic, but something went wrong, so be good to fix if possible How to See a File has a Comment in "Icon" View Mode? :)
