  1. How to select more than a single filephoto Windows 11

I'm attempting to use Onedrive on my PC, and Im used to using it on my mobile device typically, so please do bare with my little brain fart here. I can't seem to figure out how I select more than one file, other than just the "select all" function, which is most certainly not what I wish to do, as I am trying to delete a bunch of photos that I do not need and/or are taking up space and are just crowding the folder with things I don't need.It probably would help to mention I am doing this on a Microsoft Surface Go 2, on Windows 11—neither of which I am all that familiar—and I'm doing this all w

  2. Single right click instead of double right click.

Thanks for reaching out! I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

If you're looking to configure double-clicking to open apps directly from File Explorer in Windows 11, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open File Explorer: There are two methods to do this:
      • Press the Windows key + E on your keyboard.
      • Click on the File Explorer icon located on your taskbar.
    2. Access Folder Options:
      • Once in the File Explorer window, navigate to the toolbar and locate three dots (ellipsis). Click on them to reveal a menu.
      • From the menu, select "Options." This will open the Folder Options dialog box.
    3. Adjust Click Settings:
      • Within the Folder Options dialog, navigate to the "General" tab.
      • Under the "Click items as follows" section, opt for "Double-click to open an item (single-click to select)." This configuration requires a double-click to open files and apps, while a single click selects the item.
    4. Apply and Confirm Changes:
      • Click on "Apply" to save the changes you've made.
      • Lastly, click on "OK" to close the Folder Options dialog.
Please do let me know if the method I suggested works for you or if you need further assistance.

      • Immediately press and hold the Shift key.
      • Keep holding the Shift key until you see the Choose an option screen.
    3. Click on Troubleshoot.
    4. Click on Advanced options.
    5. Click on Start-up Settings.
    6. Click on the Restart button.
    7. When your computer restarts, you will see a list of options. Press the 4 key to select Safe Mode with Networking.
    8. Once your computer boots into Safe Mode, connect it to the internet.
    9. Open the Command Prompt as an administrator. To do this, follow these steps:
      • Click on the Start button.
      • Type cmd in the search bar.
      • Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
    10. In the Command Prompt window, run the following command:
    Use code with caution.

    1. Press Enter.
    2. Close the Command Prompt window.
    3. Restart your computer.
Your computer should now be back to Windows 11 Home Single Language edition.

If the above steps do not work, you can try using a different product key to activate Windows 11 Home Single Language. You can find a list of valid product keys on Microsoft's website.

If you still cannot activate Windows 11 Home Single Language, you can contact Microsoft support for assistance.
