    I am getting extremely frustrated with Microsoft windows.So I have this location on external hard drive. For whatever reason, when downloading a program, sticks the folder within a folder I created for PDF files that are books I downloaded. How did it get there? Not a clue. Maybe because I spend a lot of time there. Maybe I did it myself and do not remember. Spit happens and so do not get in a big huff about it. Am trying to move these programs elsewhere as they are in a folder that has other folders that is essentially my PDF library.This is on the left pane on files explorer-I cannot s

    I want the left pane folder to open and show subfolders when I click on the filename, instead of having to click the little carat to the left of the folder to get this to happen. Windows 10 version 20H2.

    two pane file explorer ?


    I just use windows explorer, open two copies, select one - Widows Key + Left Arrow - select two Windows Key + Right Arrow - It's sorted.

    I also do a lot of my file handling in a single window - Open the source folder in the right Pane - Select files - Drag to Left pane the folder list will scroll up and down as required and a pause on a folder will open it's sub-folders
