Windows 10: How to select only certain files in a folder?

Hi! I'm having a folder with round about 6000 images in there. Also I'm having a list in a CSV file which includes round about 400 names of those image files. I would like to select these 400 files in the folder to add them to a new folder. If I'm using the searching box in the top right corner of the explorer, I can't write down all the 400 file names because the box somehow does not allow me to have a that long string in there. Can anybody help?Thanks in advance!

Folders with zip files

just go to the root folder and do a search for all zip files, then select all and extract where you want.

How to see all files with a certain extension in a folder?

In File explorer's Details view, hover your cursor over the File explorer column heading Type.
A little dropdown arrow appears that you can use to display only the selected file type.




If you add File extension to your Details columns [right-click on any column header then choose More ... and select it from a list] then you can do the same thing with the file extension.
