Windows 10: How to set different sender's names for different accounts on Windows Mail?

GreetingsI've searched online and most everywhere I find say to use the sync settings for the account I want to change the sender's name, like in this thread.However, try as I might, I can't find this option. My Windows Mail stubbornly doesn't display the required field.As the Microsoft Community site -- for some reason -- isn't allowing me to insert images within the body of a question, I uploaded the necessary images to a site of mine and posted the required links to them.My current Windows Version.The window that the Mail app displays.

I have installed my Gmail account on Windows 10 email app. During installation it asked to give sender name and I gave.

Now when I am sending mail from windows app the sender name is different from the gmail account sender 's name.

How can I change the sender's name on windows 10 email app.

please help.

We understand your concern as you would like to change the name of the sender in the Email using mail app. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply
with the answers to the questions below.

• What is the Windows 10 Version and Build installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• 
  What is the Mail app Version installed?
  
• 
  Do you see the primary email account holder name on the email, sent using the secondary email account?
  
• 
  Does the email recipient also sees the primary email account holder’s name, instead of the actual sender?
  

In this scenario, we would suggest you to perform these steps and make the changes.

1. Open
   Mail app and click on the
   Gear icon at the bottom left.
   
2. 
   Now click on
   Manage accounts under
   Settings.
   
3. 
   Select any one secondary Email account from the list.
   
4. 
   Click on
   Change mailbox sync settings.
   
5. 
   Change the name under
   Send your messages using this name to the correct account holder.
   
6. 
   Repeat the same steps for all the email account holder other than the Primary account holder.

W10 Mail App displays sender as "name(at)outlook.com ON BEHALF OF name(at)mydomain.nl"

This problem presents itself in the Windows 10 Mail app and does not show up on Outlook.com

I use Outlook.com in combination with a connected account name(at)mydomain.nl

Since last december there has been a change in the way the Mail app is displaying the sender address.

Before Christmas it would just state: "name(at)mydomain.nl"

After Christmas the Mail app displays the sender as "name(at)outlook.com on behalf of name(at)mydomain.nl"

At oulook.com

• I have deleted my connected accounts and re-installed them again.
• I have also set and reset the Default sender address a number of times.
• With little improvement.

I suspect that the W10 Mail app is be a bit off in displaying the original sender address where it should show the return address like other mail clients do.
