No Reading Pane in Mail App

It's a Lenovo Thinkpad 8. It has an 8 inch screen. I notice that the issue isn't present on my laptop or desktop, where the recommended screen display size settings are 100-125% rather than the 200% on the tablet. The tablet works fine at a setting of
175% but the reading pane disappears at the 200% display setting.

Windows 10 Snap Assist/ Multitasking Not Working

I was having the same issue (actually just happened again after an update) and read in another post that it may be due to scaling on smaller screens. Snap feature was working in desktop mode, but not in tablet mode. After setting scaling back to 100% rather
than 125%, mine suddenly started working again, and I was then able to change back to 125%.

Got to display settings>change the size of text, apps....: 100%

If that works, you should be able to change it back to where you had it before.
