Windows 10: how to set Outlook mail to open to the inbox page with a click on the taskbar icon

When I press Outlook Mail taskbar button the Sign in page appears, then I press the Sign In box and 3 blank pages with a small blue envelope in the center flash on 3 times. After the 3 pages disappear the Inbox appears. Why the 3 pages? This has been occurring for many months and I simply let it happen. My other email services are set to open immediately to the inbox page.2nd issue: In ' MS Support "Ask a Question" I am not certain my POST reply is actually being sent to the agent who sent the response to my question. Or if my posted reply just floats around in cyberworld somewhere. Can

Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

 

Outlooks 2016 New Mail Icon With Yellow Envelope is Missing In Taskbar

It's working for me. But only on mail in my main Inbox. e-mail I move to subfolders with rules won't trigger it. It's always been like that though. And only on mail not marked as read. I have outlook set to make an e-mail as read after its selected for 5 seconds. Once that happens the envelop disappears. You also need the Icons in the taskbar set to large for it to work.

To remove your Gmail account from your Outlook email, you can follow these steps:
